Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who reviews Z-grade films usually in the horror or martial arts genre a roughly similar beat to The Cinema Snob but tending toward action films that are dumb and boring, as well as some morbid pleasure from the genre. The reviewer began her journey in 2009, gaining some respect from their forums under her old username Obscurus Lupa. In 2010, she joined in the Channel Awesome Family. The site remained active until mid-2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was revamped to Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts: one that covers the Charmed Franchise and another hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. See her videos on YouTube and Vimeo. Also you can follow her on Tumblr and Twitter. Are you bored of Allison? Ninja the Mission Force shows her in action as Interpol Ninja Cheetah. Brad Jones' Jesus Bro! was also her first film. She's appeared in Brad Jones' show Midnight Screenings, usually reviewing terrible children's films or RiffTrax Live Shows, as well as occasional adult comedies (such such as Baywatch 2017.). Then, in the latter half of 2009, she started to review movies, and gained popularity in forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the group of film critics. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She and Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
